WELCOME TO WEB FGPBP

Dear Prime Minister, the Hon. Edward Nipake Natapei

We want to thank you on be half the people of West Papua for the courageous support on bring us as your brother s and sisters Melanesian in West Papua to the UN General Assembly to help clarify the legality of the process under which our land was ceded from the Netherlands to the Indonesia in 1960s and also your effort to General Assembly to seek an advisory opinion from the UN’s international Court of Justice on the legality of the 1962 Agreement and manipulation UN referendum in 1969.

It has long time for the people of West Papua hoped the International community and its governments to pressure UN review the legality of the West Papua status on International law, so that the problem could be resolve peacefully. And we are happy that your government made the Vanuatu as the fist country which has stated the motion for West Papua legally after the launch of International Parliamentarians for West Papua (IPWP) and International Lawyers for West Papua (ILWP).

We would like the Government of Vanuatu to make a good relation with the International Parliamentarians for West Papua (IPWP) and also the International lawyers for West Papua (ILWP) on how to establish an understanding as an effort to make bigger solidarity power with UN states committee in world which concern on justice and peace in the world.

We believe that your commitment will be useful for the sake of our future, and also give us a strong hope that one day we will have freedom, justice and peace.
